Calimesa Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors - 2016

Donna K. Lotz
Chamber President

As an Associate Member of the Chamber for the past 6 years I have always believed in the importance that supporting our local Chamber and Businesses is a value to any community.  At age 70 I retired from a varied career in Marketing and Promotions from one of the largest commercial Wind and Solar companies serving North America. After 2 weeks home I was prompted by Chamber members to get more involved and help promote the Chamber, which has now expanded to 15-20 hours per week volunteering in the Chamber office and helping where I can.  The Calimesa Chamber has no paid employees and I have the opportunity to volunteer on equal footing with all the many supportive volunteers in the Community. I have worked with 3 different large cities in positions from City Clerk, Secretary to the City Manager, Secretary to the Chief Building Official and City Council Secretary, so being that involved in City government I wanted to continue that involvement when I moved to Calimesa 12 years ago.  I was appointed by a Councilman to the Calimesa Community Services Commission and served as the Chairperson for 10 years.  Working with the Calimesa Citizens on the new Calimesa Community 4th Street Park was a 10 year adventure that will come to fruition in November, 2014.

Anthony R. Phillips (Tony)
LPL Wealth Advisor
Tri-Focus Wealth Management Group Inc.

As a local business person with Tri-Focus Wealth Management Group, I believe we should take a proactive role in meeting community needs. The importance of a relationship built on trust and service can foster long time friendships.

I enjoy the opportunity to meet people, and I’m genuinely interested in helping them to achieve their goals. Having the chance to work with the Calimesa Chamber of Commerce as an Ambassador for New Homeowners and distributing the gift bags to people who thoughtfully chose to move into the neighborhood, has given me a chance to meet and welcome them and show that our community greatly appreciates having them as new homeowners.   As the newest member of the Board of Directors, I am looking forward to expanding my role in the Chamber and the community.

Kathy Houlihan, Manager Crown Village Center
Vice President

I have been associated with the Calimesa Chamber for over 10 years serving in various positions and volunteering with the Chamber.  I have served as Chairperson for Our Casino Nights, and other Chamber events and provided assistance for all table decorations for State of City and Installation Dinners.  I have been active with the Calimesa Citizens on Patrol for over 15 years and was selected as the COP Volunteer of the year. I was a volunteer on the Community Services Commission for 10 years and was selected as Calimesa Citizen of the Year in 2009. As Manager of Crown Village Center I know how important and helpful the Chamber is to local businesses and I enjoy working with everyone in the Chamber.

Personally, having 4 children, 9 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren I spend a lot of time with family, and enjoy family research and genealogy.

Angela Green, Green Accounting Team
Treasurer, Board of Directors

After earning my Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from California State University, San Bernardino, I pursued a career in management accounting.  Several years later I decided to start my own company, Green Accounting Team. I have been able to put myself in the same role as our members which make it possible for me to understand the complexity and time constraints with running a business.
I joined the Chamber to involve myself more in the Calimesa Community and have served as Treasurer and Financial Auditor for the past 2 years.  I have enjoyed assisting the Board of Directors in making sound financial decisions to better benefit the Chamber and the members.
My husband Dale and I are parents to Schroeder, our black lab and Gavin, our 3 year old son.
